
COVID-19 Information for Child Care Centres
Daily Screening
The EOHU recommends that patrons and staff of child care centres use the COVID-19 School and Child Care Screening tool prior to and upon their arrival at the child care centre.
Return to Child Care

Licensed Child Care Centres:
As of September 1, 2020, child care centres may return to maximum group sizes as set out under the CCEYA (i.e., licensed age groups prior to the COVID-19 outbreak). All child care settings must operate with enhanced health and safety measures in place. Please consult the documents below for more information:

Private Child Care Services with 5 Children or Less:
The EOHU is advising that private daycares with 5 children or less can resume operations if they choose, provided they take the required infection control measures described in the document below:
