Important Information for Travellers and Returning Travellers

The Government of Canada has issued an official global travel advisory, now in effect: Avoid non-essential travel outside Canada until further notice. Travellers who are currently outside of the country are being advised to return to Canada as soon as possible.

RETURNING TRAVELLERS: The Quarantine Act is now in effect. All travellers returning from outside Canada – whether by air, sea or land – are required by law to isolate for 14 days if they have symptoms of COVID-19, or to quarantine (self-isolate) themselves for 14 days if they are asymptomatic in order to limit the introduction and spread of COVID-19. If you are a returning traveller, you must go straight home; do NOT go shopping or visit others. It is strongly recommended that you consult the Public Health Agency of Canada’s Coronavirus disease (COVID-19): Travel advice website for the latest information, advisories and instructions.
