Small Drinking Water Systems (SDWS) Inspection Reports
The EOHU is mandated under the Ontario Health Protection and Promotion Act to inspect all small drinking water systems in the City of Cornwall and the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, and Prescott-Russell. Small drinking water systems are premises that don’t get their drinking water from a municipal drinking water system, but still provide drinking water to the public. Premises that are inspected may include motels, restaurants, and seasonal trailer parks.
A summary of small drinking water system inspection results is posted online shortly after the inspection and includes any infractions (violations of small drinking water systems safety standards) that are found at the premises.
Inspection reports are available online for four years from the date of inspection.
If you have any questions about an inspection report or small drinking water systems, please contact the EOHU at 613-933-1375 or at 1 800 267-7120.
