Dental Health Educators/Assistants (Permanent Full-Time)

Location: Prescott Russell Territory

Salary: $47,320‬.00 to $53,489.8‬0 annually

Description of Job:
The individual will work within a public health team to support dental care delivery to children, youth and seniors in a public health clinic. The individuals will also be responsible to promote oral health in the community at large in accordance with mandatory program guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognized program in dental assisting Level II.
  • Previous experience in a private dental office, teaching, or a public health environment is preferred.
  • Current certification with the Ontario Dental Assistants Association, at Level II.
  • Hold NDAEB certificate (National Dental Assisting Examining Board).
  • HARP (Healing Arts Radiation Protection Commission) certified.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills in both English and French.
  • Must possess a valid driver's licence and the use of an automobile.

Layout Designer

Location: 1 Temporary Full-Time position for the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry territory (1 year contract, position is eligible for Mobile Workforce/Teleworking as per Company policy)

Salary: $26.39 to $29.83 per hour plus 12 % in lieu of benefits and 6 % in lieu of vacation.

Description of Job:
The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development and production of quality visual communications.

Qualifications:

  • Two-year post-secondary diploma in Office Administration of the equivalent or two years relevant experience.
  • Post-secondary training in desktop publishing.
  • Ability to work on a PC platform in a Windows environment
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office and experience with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
  • Must possess a valid driver's licence and the use of an automobile.

Public Health Inspector (SDG)

Location: 1 Permanent Full-Time position for the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Territory (Ontario)

Salary: $ 70,270.20 to $ 79,370.20 annually

Description of Job:
Working as a member of a Public Health Team, the incumbent will be responsible to carry out inspections, investigations, education in matters related to community health protection, primarily on food safety, water quality and health hazards prevention; and to enforce the provisions of the Health Protection and Promotion Act.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health or equivalent.
  • Current certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada).
  • Self motivated and able to complete assigned duties with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to respond to varied and shared tasks associated with working in a positive team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to participate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the use of an automobile.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Good communication skills in French considered an asset.

Speech-Language Pathologists (Bilingual)

Location: 1 Permanent Full-Time position for the Prescott-Russell Territory
1 Temporary Full-Time position for the Prescott-Russell Territory (until March 31, 2023)

Salary: $ 71,143.80 to $ 81,299.40 annually (PFT) / $39.09 to $44.67 per hour with 12% in lieu of benefits and 8% in lieu of vacation pay (TFT)

Description of Job:
The individual organizes, prepares, and delivers both in-person and virtual speech and language pathology assessment/treatment and education programs to preschool children and their family/caregivers.

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in speech-language pathology.
  • Eligibility for CASLPO membership.
  • Experience working with young children and their family/caregivers.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s licence and the use of an automobile.

Property Management Assistant

Location: One Permanent Full Time (SDG Territory)

Salary: $64,937.60 to $73,346.00 annually

Description of Job:
The individual will assist the Manager, Risk and Physical Resources with all EOHU real estate and capital assets; exercise control over the buildings to safeguard the real estate investments; ensure proper maintenance of the building infrastructures and assets; perform regular day-to-day facilities operations; communicate with contractors, landlords, and tenants and oversee facilities projects.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary graduate in a Business Administration/Property Management related program.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Fire Code and relevant Acts and bylaws.
  • Experience in property/facilities, asset and project management knowledge of building infrastructure and mechanical/electrical and life safety systems.
  • Health and Safety Certification.
  • Experience with computer-based information systems.
  • Good communication skills in both official languages.
  • Must possess a valid driver's licence and the use of an automobile.
