COVID-19 Local Status Updates and Statistics

As of January 9, 2024, the EOHU is changing data sources to report the number of patients who are hospitalized or in ICU specifically due to COVID-19. The change is due to the data no longer being available from the previous source. The data that we are capturing from the new source only includes cases from the four hospitals that operate on the EOHU’s territory.

The Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) continues to work with our partners at the regional, provincial and federal levels to monitor the situation, and is prepared to respond to cases in our area.
