Food Establishment Inspection Reports

Food establishment inspection reports will be available on this site for two years. If you are looking for a report older than two years or for a report of an establishment that is no longer in business, please fill out a request form. The form is available at the EOHU office nearest you. Please note that you need to fill one form per establishment.

If you have any questions regarding the Food Premises Disclosure System, please call the EOHU at 613-933-1375 or 1 800 267-7120 and ask for Health Line.

Food Establishment Inspections

The Eastern Ontario Health Unit is mandated under the Ontario Health Protection and Promotion Act to inspect all food premises to make sure that food is stored, prepared and served safely. Establishments that are inspected include restaurants, cafeterias, chip stands, catering services, food and convenience stores, daycares and nurseries, long-term care homes and lodging homes, and more.

Results of the inspection are recorded in a food safety inspection report. A summary of this report is posted on this site shortly after the inspection and includes any infractions (violations of food safety standards) that are found at the establishment.

For more information, please consult the Frequently Asked Questions. You may also call the Eastern Ontario Health Unit at 613-933-1375 or 1 800 267-7120 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays. Ask for Health Line.
