Change in Cornwall COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Location for Individuals Who Received their First Dose at the Cornwall Square
The Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) is advising individuals who have an appointment to receive their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Cornwall Square between July 13th and the 30th, that the location of the clinic has changed.
Cornwall COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Moved to the Benson Centre
Individuals who received their first dose of the vaccine at the Cornwall Square shopping mall were automatically booked for a second dose at the same location. However, the Cornwall clinic has since moved to the Benson Centre. The change in clinic location can affect those who had appointments for the second dose in one of two ways.
For some individuals, their appointments remain at the same date and time as originally booked, but they must go to the Benson Centre (800 Seventh Street West, Cornwall) instead of Cornwall Square to receive the vaccine.
For individuals whose appointment was on one of the dates listed below, their appointment will be rescheduled:
- July 14
- July 15
- July 19
- July 22
- July 28
- July 29
Individuals with an appointment on one of these dates will be contacted by the provincial booking call centre to reschedule their second dose appointment as the dates do not align with clinics at the Benson Centre. The provincial booking call centre will get in touch with these individuals in the coming days to provide them with a new appointment at the Benson Centre close to the date of their original appointment at the Cornwall Square.
If the affected individuals did not provide a phone number at the time of their first appointment, or do not receive a call from the Province by 3 to 4 days before their scheduled appointment, they should call the EOHU at 613-933-1375 or 1 800 267-7120 for help rescheduling their appointment.
Please note that the EOHU has also sent an email to all individuals affected by these changes to let them know if they must simply go to the Benson Centre on the original date and time, or if they will have their second appointment rescheduled.
